The Omen

The Omen (2006) is John Moore's supernatural horror film you can watch online on iFILM. American diplomat Robert Thorn learns that his newborn son died at birth. Shaken, he secretly swaps in another infant and tells his wife nothing. They name the boy Damien.

Years pass, and the things happening around the Thorns stop looking like coincidence. A nanny hangs herself in front of the whole party. Animals recoil from the child. A priest who tries to warn Robert (Liev Schreiber) dies in a way no one can explain. Katherine (Julia Stiles) grows terrified of her own son, and beneath the hair on the back of his scalp a number appears that should not be there.

This is a remake of the 1976 classic, released, fittingly, on June 6, 2006. Moore trades the original's warm film stock for a cold, post-millennial unease, and Mia Farrow makes a genuinely creepy devilish nanny.
