Jim Street got bounced from his squad after a hostage rescue went wrong. Veteran officer Hondo offers him a way back by drafting a fresh S.W.A.T. team. Among them are the stubborn Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez), the brash Deke (LL Cool J), and a couple of recruits who have to learn to trust each other fast. Their first job looks routine: move a captured drug lord to federal prison. Then the prisoner goes on camera and offers a hundred million dollars to anyone who springs him, and every criminal in the city comes hunting.
