The Interview

Dave Skylark fronts a trashy celebrity talk show, and his producer Aaron is itching to do journalism that actually matters. The break arrives from nowhere: North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un turns out to be a devoted fan and agrees to sit down for an interview. The pair book a flight to Pyongyang. Then the CIA pulls them aside with an assignment that leaves them speechless — kill Kim. And so the two least-qualified assassins on the planet head off on a mission they are nowhere near ready for.

Rogen and Goldberg push the crude absurdity all the way, while Randall Park plays the dictator as oddly charming, taking the guys for a tank ride and belting out Katy Perry.
