Walking Tall

Walking Tall (2004) is an American action film directed by Kevin Bray that you can watch online on iFILM. Dwayne Johnson plays Chris Vaughn, a Special Forces veteran who comes home after eight years to find his small Pacific Northwest town hollowed out — the mill shut, the casino running everything, and the police looking the other way.

Vaughn watches drugs change hands on the casino floor and decides the legal route is too slow. He picks up a plank of wood instead. The town elects him sheriff; the people who own it are not pleased. Johnny Knoxville co-stars as his best friend. A remake of the 1973 cult film, this version strips the premise down to 86 minutes of straightforward action built around Johnson's physical presence in one of his earliest leading roles.
