Coherence

Coherence (2014) is a low-budget sci-fi thriller from James Ward Byrkit that you can watch online on iFILM. Four couples meet for dinner the night a comet passes overhead, and the evening quietly stops making sense.

First the phones crack and the connection dies. Then the power cuts out everywhere except one house glowing at the end of the street. Emily (Emily Baldoni), her boyfriend Kevin and their friends walk over to investigate, and what they find should not exist. Each trip outside makes one question harder to shake: which version of us is the real one?

Byrkit shot the film across five nights with almost no script, handing actors only index cards with private cues, so a lot of the confusion on screen is genuine.
