Hostage

Jeff Talley (Willis) quit the LAPD hostage unit after a negotiation went wrong and a child died. He took a quiet sheriff's job in a small California town. Then three young men break into a house on the edge of town and take a family captive — among them a volatile, unpredictable Ben Foster as Mars, who has no interest in how things are supposed to go. Inside the house: a DVD with financial records that a Los Angeles mob boss cannot afford to let anyone see. His solution is to kidnap Talley's wife and daughter and make the rescue his problem alone.
