Maureen is raising her daughter Amina alone. Then her ex-husband Karim takes the girl for a weekend and simply doesn't come back — he smuggles her out of the country. Years of legal attempts go nowhere. Finally, a man named Robeson contacts Maureen: a former marine who runs covert extraction operations for internationally abducted children. His deal — she assists on missions, he brings Amina home. She has no real choice.
