Synopsis

Borat (2006) is Larry Charles's mockumentary comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Kazakh TV reporter Borat Sagdiyev sets off for America to film a guide to the "greatest country in the world." Somewhere along the way, his mission changes.

After catching an old Baywatch rerun on a motel television, Borat decides to drive across the States and marry Pamela Anderson. With his producer Azamat and a battered ice-cream truck, he zigzags from New York to California, stumbling through rodeos, church revivals, dinner parties and antique shops. The trick: almost everyone he meets is a real person, not an actor, and the camera catches their honest reactions to his outrageous behavior.

Sacha Baron Cohen stayed in character so completely that few of his targets recognized the prank until it was too late. The film triggered a diplomatic spat with Kazakhstan, won Cohen a Golden Globe and earned an Oscar nomination for its screenplay. Stream Borat (2006) online on iFILM.
