Synopsis
The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025) — watch online on iFILM — is a drama directed by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, reconstructed from actual emergency call recordings documented by the Palestinian Red Crescent on 29 January 2024. The cast includes Motaz Malhees, Saja Kilani, Amer Hlehel, and Clara Khoury.
Gaza. That morning. A phone line stays open. On the other end: a five-year-old child alone in a car, gunfire all around, asking for help. Her name was Hind Rajab. Red Crescent dispatchers and volunteers work to reach her through blocked streets while keeping her on the line. The film runs 89 minutes and holds close to what the recordings actually captured — the voice you hear is real archive audio.
