The Pale Blue Eye

Retired constable Augustus Landor takes the case. The cadets keep quiet, the academy's leadership wants it buried fast, and the only man who reads the killing like a poem rather than a horror is a strange, brilliant young recruit named Edgar Allan Poe, played by Harry Melling. Their odd partnership is what pulls the story past its first riddle. The cast also brings in Gillian Anderson, Toby Jones, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Robert Duvall.
