Cutter is just easing back into work after his wife's death when he boards a routine flight. So does Charles Rane (Bruce Payne), a cold-blooded hijacker being transported under guard. Rane's crew takes the cabin, missing one detail: the one man who can stop them is buckled into a seat nearby. The fight breaks out of the sky and spills onto the ground, ending up on a county fair carousel and a runway. Elizabeth Hurley turns up in an early role.
