Spring Breakers

Spring Breakers (2013) is Harmony Korine's crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Four bored college girls are desperate to escape to Florida for spring break. They have no money, so they rob a chicken joint to fund the trip.

Brit, Candy, Cotty and Faith (Selena Gomez) buy their getaway with a stick-up and land in a neon paradise of beaches and round-the-clock parties. Then a gold-toothed rapper and drug dealer who calls himself Alien takes them in. James Franco plays him with grills, guns under the bed and a creepy charm. What starts as a thrill curdles into something darker, and each girl has to decide how far she'll go. Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson round out the crew.

Korine shoots this less like a beach comedy and more like a fever dream, with cinematographer Benoit Debie drenching every frame in candy color and a score built by Cliff Martinez and Skrillex.
