Profile (2018) is a thriller directed by Timur Bekmambetov that you can watch online on iFILM. British journalist Amy creates a fake Facebook account — a young convert, lonely and disillusioned — to get inside ISIS recruitment networks and report on how they pull Western women into Syria.

The entire film plays out on a laptop screen: chat windows, video calls, browser tabs, a deadline ticking in the corner. Shazad Latif plays Bilal, the recruiter — patient, warm, and precise about which emotional buttons to press. Valene Kane as Amy tracks the exact point where professional detachment starts to slip. Bekmambetov shot it in the screenlife format he developed on Unfriended, and the confined frame makes the manipulation feel uncomfortably close.
