Blitz

Blitz (2011) is a hard-edged British action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Jason Statham plays a London detective who solves things with his fists more than his paperwork.

A man with a hammer is stalking the city, calling himself Blitz and picking off police officers one by one. He feeds the details straight to a tabloid reporter so his name lands on the front page. The case falls to brawling Sergeant Tom Brant (Statham) and his calm, by-the-book new boss, Inspector Nash (Paddy Considine). Two mismatched cops have to pull together while the body count keeps climbing.

Adapted from Irish writer Ken Bruen's novel and directed by Elliott Lester, the film lives on the clash of personalities.
