Years later he crosses the line between dimensions and tracks down the woman from that badge: detective Jung Tae-eul (Kim Go-eun) of our Korea, who first takes the crowned visitor for a lunatic. Together they have to seal the portal that an old betrayal pried open, before doubles and stolen identities tear both worlds apart.

The script comes from Kim Eun-sook, the writer behind Goblin and Descendants of the Sun, which explains the trademark mix of romance, mystery and time loops.
