Robin Hood (2006) is a BBC adventure drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Robert of Locksley rides home from the Crusades to find his lands bled dry by the Sheriff of Nottingham — heavy taxes, public hangings, and no mercy for the poor. He trades his title for a hood and a quiver.

Jonas Armstrong plays Robin as a young, quick-witted outlaw rather than a noble legend. His Merry Men are a ragged crew — Gordon Kennedy as the dry-humoured Little John, Joe Armstrong as hot-headed Will Scarlet, and a handful of fugitives with their own reasons to fight the Sheriff. Richard Armitage's Sir Guy of Gisborne turns the villain role into something genuinely complicated: he's brutal, but the show gives him enough shade that audiences didn't always root against him.
