Point Break

Point Break (1991) is an action thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow that you can watch online on iFILM, starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. FBI rookie Johnny Utah lands in Los Angeles chasing a crew of bank robbers who wear presidential masks, never fire a shot, and are in and out in ninety seconds flat.

Utah's working theory: the gang are surfers. So he hits the beach under cover and falls into the circle of Bodhi — a charismatic wave-rider who treats surfing as a philosophy and danger as the only honest way to live. Gary Busey plays his world-weary partner Pappas, who has been hunting these guys for years. The job is to get close, gather evidence, and get out. Utah doesn't manage the last part cleanly.

Shot on location with real surfers and real skydives, the film turned a $24 million budget into $83 million at the box office and a reputation that has outlasted both its era and its remake.
