Death on the Nile

Death on the Nile (1978) is a classic whodunit you can watch online on iFILM. Wealthy heiress Linnet snatches her best friend's fiancé, and the honeymoon cruise down the Nile turns into murder aboard the steamer Karnak.

Hercule Poirot, played by Peter Ustinov, happens to be sailing too, and every polished passenger suddenly looks guilty. Linnet had no shortage of enemies: the jilted Jacqueline (Mia Farrow) trails the newlyweds everywhere, and the boat is packed with a jittery maid, a cynical doctor and a scandal-prone novelist. Poirot picks apart the alibis one by one as fresh bodies start turning up before the cruise is over.

This Agatha Christie adaptation from director John Guillermin assembles a dazzling cast: Bette Davis, David Niven, Angela Lansbury, Maggie Smith, Jane Birkin.
