Shadow of Doubt

Shadow of Doubt (1998) is an American crime thriller directed by Randal Kleiser — watch it online on iFILM. A young woman is found dead, and the finger points at Bobby Medina, a man with a convenient record and no alibi.

Defense attorney Kitt Devereux, played by Melanie Griffith, takes the case and quickly runs into a wall. On the other side stands Deputy DA Jack Campioni — Tom Berenger at his most calculated — and he never loses by accident. The deeper Kitt digs, the more the murder starts to look like a cleanup operation for someone with far more to protect than a conviction.
