Summer Lovers

Summer Lovers (1982) is an American romantic drama directed by Randal Kleiser — watch it online on iFILM. Kleiser shoots the Greek coastline the way it actually looks — sharp light, crowded beaches, crumbling stone walls — which grounds a story that could easily have turned precious. The tagline says "the sexy adventure of a lifetime," but the film is really about people improvising their way through a situation they didn't choose and can't quite leave.
