To win over Stephanie, the headstrong leader of the Pink Ladies, Michael rebuilds an old motorcycle, pulls on a leather jacket and reinvents himself as a mystery rider nobody can place. Stephanie wants no part of the local T-Birds gang; she dreams of someone different, never guessing who is behind the helmet. The film marks Michelle Pfeiffer's first leading role, opposite Maxwell Caulfield, with a teenage Pamela Adlon in the cast.
