Synopsis

My Fellow Americans (1996) is a political comedy you can watch online on iFILM, starring Jack Lemmon and James Garner, directed by Peter Segal.

Former presidents Russell Kramer and Matthew Douglas have despised each other for decades — different parties, different eras, same mutual contempt. When the sitting president frames them both in a corruption scandal, the old rivals have no choice but to run together. The Secret Service is behind them, their accounts are frozen, and no one in Washington will touch them. Two former leaders of the free world end up hitchhiking through rural America, discovered by the very voters they once campaigned to.

The film coasts on Lemmon and Garner's easy chemistry — two veterans who can argue, undercut each other, and still be watchable in the same frame. Segal keeps the pace brisk and the jokes aimed at both sides of the aisle. Watch My Fellow Americans (1996) online on iFILM.
