Mighty Aphrodite

Mighty Aphrodite (1995) is a Woody Allen comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Lenny, a New York sportswriter, adopts a baby boy and years later becomes set on tracking down the child's birth mother.

The boy turns out remarkably bright, so Lenny convinces himself the answer lies in the woman who gave him up. His search leads to Linda Ash (Mira Sorvino), a sweet, dim-witted prostitute and porn star with a squeaky voice and a good heart. Lenny appoints himself her rescuer and tangles up his own life in the process, while his wife Amanda (Helena Bonham Carter) drifts further away. Narrating it all is an actual Greek chorus led by F. Murray Abraham.
