Synopsis
Jailhouse Rock (1957) is a rock 'n' roll drama starring Elvis Presley that you can watch online on iFILM. Director Richard Thorpe cast Elvis as Vince Everett, a young man sentenced for manslaughter after a bar fight turns fatal. Behind bars, a fellow inmate teaches him to play guitar, and a prison talent show puts him in front of a camera for the first time.
Out of jail, Vince signs a record deal and rockets to fame. The money and attention change him fast. He cuts out the people who believed in him, alienates the woman who helped launch his career, and nearly loses his voice along the way — the one thing that made everything possible. Only when the damage is done does he start to reckon with what he threw away.
