Losin' It

Losin' It (1983) is a teen comedy directed by Curtis Hanson — watch it online on iFILM. Tom Cruise, Jackie Earle Haley, John Stockwell, and Shelley Long head a cast of four Los Angeles high schoolers who pile into a car in 1965 and drive to Tijuana with a single shared ambition: to stop being virgins.

Tijuana has other ideas. A young woman desperate for a quick divorce latches onto the group, and what was supposed to be a straightforward night of misadventure turns into something considerably messier. Haley does the heaviest comic lifting; Cruise is still pre-stardom smooth, which makes him an easy straight man for the chaos around him.
