Wonder Boys

Trailing him is James Leer, a gifted student who lies about everything and keeps a pistol in his coat. A slick New York editor hovers nearby, desperate for a manuscript. Michael Douglas plays the burnt-out genius in a pink woman's bathrobe, Tobey Maguire is his odd protégé, and Robert Downey Jr. and Frances McDormand pile on the mess.
