Pam & Tommy (Season 1)

Pam & Tommy (2022) is a Hulu limited series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Craig Gillespie — the same filmmaker behind I, Tonya. It reconstructs the events around what became the first tape to go viral, before the internet had the infrastructure to handle it. Lily James plays Pamela Anderson; Sebastian Stan plays Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.

They met, married within four days, and filmed a honeymoon they intended to keep private. The tape sat locked in a safe at their Malibu home until a disgruntled contractor — played by Seth Rogen — took it. What followed wasn't just a theft. It became a rolling disaster that ran through early internet chat rooms, adult video distributors, and courtrooms, while Pamela watched her image get stripped of any control she had over it. Tommy, for his part, was furious for different reasons.
