Mae and George (Charlotte Ritchie) are an unlikely pair. George is still working out what she wants — and who she is. Mae brings an intensity that is equal parts magnetic and exhausting, shaped by years of addiction and a pattern of going all-in on everything at once. The relationship is tested by family pressure, outside judgment, and Mae's own pull toward old habits. Lisa Kudrow appears in a recurring role as Mae's mother.
