Synopsis
The Midnight Sky (2020) is a science-fiction drama directed by George Clooney that you can watch online on iFILM. A catastrophe has emptied the planet. Augustine, a dying astronomer, stays behind at an Arctic outpost and tries to warn a crew flying home.
Clooney directs and plays Augustine himself. The radios are mostly dead, and his only company is Iris, a silent young girl who somehow turned up at the station. Far above, the spacecraft Aether drifts back from the moons of Jupiter with no idea what waits below. Captain Sully (Felicity Jones) is pregnant; her crew includes David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demian Bichir and Tiffany Boone. The old man has to reach them through static and ice while there is still someone left to save.
