Synopsis

Deadly Friend (1986) is a sci-fi horror film directed by Wes Craven that you can watch online on iFILM. Matthew Laborteaux plays Paul Conway, a teenage prodigy who arrives in a new town with his homemade robot BB and quickly befriends the girl next door, Samantha — played by Kristy Swanson.

When Samantha's violent father leaves her brain-dead, Paul does the only thing his overclocked mind can think of: he implants BB's processor chip into her skull and powers her back up. She opens her eyes. But whatever came back is not quite the person he knew. Craven uses the setup to drag a teen romance into genuinely unsettling territory.
