Synopsis
Scream VI (2023) is a slasher thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett pull the franchise out of quiet Woodsboro for the first time and drop it into New York City.
Four survivors of the last massacre — sisters Sam and Tara Carpenter, plus twins Chad and Mindy — are trying to rebuild their lives in the city. Sam is seeing a therapist and hovers over Tara's every move, which Tara cannot stand. Turns out the worry is justified. Ghostface picks up the knife again, and this killer is meaner and more inventive than any before. Mindy lays out a fresh set of survival rules, but the old tricks don't all hold up in a metropolis: crowded subways, packed apartments, nowhere to hide, and everyone a suspect.
Melissa Barrera and Wednesday star Jenna Ortega lead the cast, with Courteney Cox back as Gale Weathers and Hayden Panettiere returning to the fold. The tagline says it plainly: in a city this size, no one hears you scream. It's 122 minutes of pursuit where the familiar mask hides someone you won't see coming.
