Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (2011) is Mike Mitchell's family musical comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Dave Seville takes the singing chipmunks and the Chipettes on a cruise-ship vacation, but a relaxing trip never lasts long. The six furry pop stars wash up on what looks like a deserted tropical island. It isn't quite as empty as it seems. Dave (Jason Lee) is stuck back on the ship with his old nemesis, bumbling ex-producer Ian (David Cross), while Alvin, Simon, Theodore and the girls have to build shelter, find food and figure out who else is hiding in the jungle. The voice cast includes Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Amy Poehler, Anna Faris and Christina Applegate.

This third entry in the franchise sticks to the formula that made it a hit: peppy covers of chart pop, slapstick chases and gags pitched at kids and parents alike.
