Synopsis
Air Force One (1997) is Wolfgang Petersen's action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Flying home from Moscow, the US President finds his own jet seized by armed hijackers somewhere over the Atlantic.
Their leader, Ivan Korshunov (Gary Oldman), wants a jailed general set free and starts killing hostages one at a time to force the issue. The President's wife and daughter are aboard, along with his staff and Secret Service detail. But the President, a former combat soldier, refuses to bail out in the escape pod. He stays on the plane and hunts the men holding his family at gunpoint. Harrison Ford takes the lead, while on the ground the Vice President (Glenn Close) argues against a Pentagon ready to shoot the aircraft down with everyone still inside.
Petersen traps the whole fight inside a metal tube at 30,000 feet, with no backup and nowhere to run. The line "Get off my plane" has long outlived the movie. Stream Air Force One (1997) online on iFILM.
