Synopsis
Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin (2021) is a found-footage horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Margot grew up with no family at all. Her mother gave her up as a baby. Then a blood relative finally turns up.
Margot is a documentary filmmaker, so she does what she knows best: she brings a small crew and drives out to a remote Amish community to film the relatives she has never met. The household welcomes them, lets the cameras roll inside, and seems happy to be on film. There is only one rule. Stay out of the woods behind the farm. The longer the crew stays, the more the warm welcome curdles, and the night fills with sounds nobody will explain.
Director William Eubank revived the franchise after a six-year gap, dropping its trademark handheld camerawork into the closed world of a religious sect. Emily Bader leads the cast.
