Synopsis
The Echo (2008) is a psychological horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Yam Laranas — who adapted his own Filipino film Sigaw for American audiences. The setup is quiet. An old apartment. A man trying to start over. Then the sounds through the wall begin.
Bobby Reynolds (Jesse Bradford) is freshly out of prison and moves into his mother's place, empty since her sudden death. The neighbor across the hall is a cop — played by Kevin Durand — who seems to have his family living in fear. Bobby tries to stay out of it. He reconnects with his girlfriend (Amelia Warner), looks for work, keeps his head down. But the building won't let him ignore what's happening, and the truth about his mother's death turns out to be tied to all of it.
