The Prowler

The Prowler (1981) is an American slasher directed by Joseph Zito, available to watch online on iFILM. It opens in 1945: a soldier comes home from the front to find a Dear John letter waiting instead of a girlfriend. That same night, at Avalon Bay's graduation dance, a figure in full military gear kills the girl and her new date with a pitchfork — and leaves a rose in her hand.

Thirty-five years pass. The town has quietly cancelled every graduation dance since. Now the ban is lifted, the event is back on, and so is the killer. Vicky Dawson and Christopher Goutman play the students who have to figure out who is behind the mask before the body count climbs any higher.
