Synopsis
Leaving Las Vegas (1995) is Mike Figgis's drama you can watch online on iFILM. Ben Sanderson, a Hollywood screenwriter wrecked by drink, loses his job and his family and drives to Las Vegas for one reason: to drink himself to death. No detox. No second act.
In the neon city he meets Sera, a prostitute carrying her own bruises and her own price. They strike an odd bargain — she won't beg him to quit, he won't judge her work. Two ruined people agree not to fix each other, and somehow that becomes the closest thing either has to love. Nicolas Cage plays a man dissolving with zero vanity; Elisabeth Shue answers him with tenderness laced in dread.
