Confess, Fletch

Confess, Fletch (2022) is a breezy crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Greg Mottola with Jon Hamm playing the roguish journalist-turned-amateur-detective Irwin Fletcher. It's a revival of the classic Fletch series — looser and funnier than a straight thriller has any right to be.

Fletch arrives in Boston to track down a stolen art collection belonging to his fiancée. He also finds a dead body in the rented house. That makes him the prime suspect. The only exit from that situation is to figure out which of the surrounding weirdos actually did it — among them a shady art dealer, a missing playboy, an unstable neighbor and an Italian girlfriend with secrets. Kyle MacLachlan and Marcia Gay Harden round out a cast that leans hard into the farce.
