Synopsis
The Aristocats (1970) is the hand-drawn Disney musical you can watch online on iFILM. In turn-of-the-century Paris, a pampered cat named Duchess and her three kittens are set to inherit their owner's entire fortune.
That arrangement does not sit well with the household butler. He drugs the cats and dumps them far out in the French countryside, betting they will never find their way back. Lost and out of their depth, the refined felines run into Thomas O'Malley, a smooth-talking alley cat who answers to no one. With help from his band of jazz-loving strays, he sets out to get the aristocats home before the fortune slips away.
Directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, the film leans on the voices of Phil Harris and Eva Gabor and a swinging jazz score that gives the story its Parisian charm.
