The Forgotten

The Forgotten (2004) is a sci-fi thriller starring Julianne Moore you can watch online on iFILM. A mother grieves her dead son while everyone around her insists the boy never existed.

Telly Paretta (Moore) lost her young son in a plane crash. Her psychiatrist, Dr. Munce (Gary Sinise), tells her the child was never real and that she invented nine years of memories. Photos go blank, her husband doesn't remember the boy, records have been wiped. Telly tracks down a neighbor (Dominic West) who lost a daughter the same way. Together they try to prove their kids existed, and soon realize that whoever is erasing them has reach far beyond any ordinary cover-up.

Director Joseph Ruben keeps the film balanced between detective story and the paranormal, never letting you stand on solid ground.
