Northfork

Northfork (2003) is an American drama-fantasy you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Michael Polish. The film is set in a Montana town that's about to disappear under a reservoir — six men from an evacuation committee work through the last holdouts, while a gravely ill orphan boy named Irwin hallucinates angels wandering through town. James Woods, Nick Nolte, Claire Forlani, Daryl Hannah, and Ben Foster head a large and carefully chosen ensemble.

The two storylines — the bureaucratic evacuation and the child's fever dreams — don't so much intersect as float alongside each other. Polish shoots the Montana landscape in pale, almost overexposed silver tones, so the boundary between the real town and Irwin's visions barely holds. The tagline got it right: everyone here is an angel of some kind.
