Synopsis

The film is based on what actually happened in 1957: a group of boys from Monterrey, Mexico — most of them picking up a baseball glove for the first time — made it all the way to the Little League World Series in the United States. Nobody expected them to last a single round. They won the whole thing. It was the first championship ever taken by a team from outside the US.
