Blackhat

Blackhat (2015) is a Michael Mann action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Chris Hemsworth plays Nicholas Hathaway, a jailed hacker let out on one condition: find whoever breached a Chinese nuclear plant before the next strike lands.

The setup is lean, the map is wide. That reactor hit turns out to be a rehearsal, the same code soon spikes a commodities exchange, and the trail runs from Chicago through Hong Kong to Jakarta. Hathaway works alongside a Chinese officer (Wang Leehom), his network-engineer sister (Tang Wei) and an FBI agent played by Viola Davis. The closer they get, the more personal the hunt becomes.

Mann shoots the chase after an unseen enemy the way he once shot shootouts in Heat: night-lit cities, raw digital cameras, long quiet stretches broken by sudden gunfire.
