Public Enemies

Public Enemies (2009) is Michael Mann's crime drama, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Johnny Depp plays bank robber John Dillinger as a fledgling FBI hunts him down.

It's 1933, the worst of the Depression, and Dillinger pulls off daylight heists with a swagger the newspapers can't resist. To a public that blames the banks for everything, he reads like a folk hero. That popularity is exactly what J. Edgar Hoover wants to crush: catching Dillinger would turn his small Bureau into a national force. Hoover hands the job to his sharpest agent, Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale), while the outlaw falls for coat-check girl Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard), a romance that leaves him exposed.
