Synopsis

The Hunting Party (2007) is a political thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Richard Shepard. The film is rooted in a real story reported by journalist Scott Anderson: in post-war Bosnia, a small crew of reporters managed to locate a wanted war criminal when every intelligence agency had come up empty — simply by going to look. Richard Gere, Terrence Howard and Jesse Eisenberg lead the cast.

Veteran reporter Simon Hunt (Gere) and cameraman Duck (Howard) spent years covering wars together and racking up Emmy Awards. A live on-air breakdown ended Hunt's career. Five years later he resurfaces with a tip: he knows where the man known as the Fox is hiding. The two drag a rookie journalist (Eisenberg) along into rural Bosnia, armed with nothing but a half-credible lead. When a UN official mistakes them for a CIA hit squad, things move fast.

Director Shepard keeps the tone caught between sharp black comedy and a genuinely tense chase, with Diane Kruger in a supporting role. Stream The Hunting Party (2007) online on iFILM.
