Synopsis
Two Bits (1995) — watch online on iFILM — is a family drama directed by James Foley, set on a single sweltering summer day in 1933 South Philadelphia, where a twelve-year-old boy named Gennaro has one goal: come up with a quarter to get into the brand-new La Paloma movie theater.
The quarter belongs to his grandfather, who has promised it to the boy — but not yet. The old man, played by Al Pacino, still has unfinished business: a woman from his past, a story left untold, and an errand only Gennaro can run. What starts as a simple transaction turns into an afternoon neither of them will forget. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Alec Baldwin round out the cast.
