Escape

Escape (Flukt, 2012) is a Norwegian historical action film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Roar Uthaug. The setting is 1363 — a decade after the Black Death has torn through the country, leaving the mountain passes nearly empty and the social order badly frayed. A family of peasants is crossing the highlands looking for somewhere to start over when a gang of bandits hits them without warning.

Nineteen-year-old Signe is the only one taken alive. She figures out quickly what the gang has planned for her. The film then becomes a survival chase across snow and rock, with Ingrid Bolsø Berdal playing the gang's leader — controlled, ruthless, and far more dangerous than her male counterparts precisely because she never panics.
