Synopsis
The Lost Bus (2025) is a drama-thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Matthew McConaughey plays a bus driver who takes a run straight into a spreading wildfire. On board are a teacher and two dozen schoolchildren. There is no turning back.
The flames advance in a wall, roads are sealed off, and smoke cuts visibility down to a few feet. The driver and the teacher, played by America Ferrera, have to get the kids through a burning town as the fire closes in around them. Director Paul Greengrass builds tension not from spectacle but from each passing minute, when a single wrong choice could cost a child's life. The story traces back to one of the deadliest fires in California's history, when an entire town burned in a matter of hours.
