Green Zone

Green Zone (2010) is Paul Greengrass's war thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Matt Damon plays Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller, whose Army team is sweeping Baghdad for the chemical stockpiles used to justify the invasion.

Site after site turns up nothing. Miller starts to suspect the intel feeding his missions was rigged from the start. So he stops taking orders and pulls a thread that runs all the way to the top. In his way stand a CIA analyst (Brendan Gleeson), a slick Pentagon official (Greg Kinnear), and a reporter (Amy Ryan) who was handed a tidy scoop she never questioned.

Greengrass shoots it like his Bourne films: jittery handheld camera, hard cuts, the feeling that you are running down a dusty street with the patrol. The plot is invented, but the question underneath is not: who answers for weapons that were never there. Stream Green Zone (2010) online on iFILM.
