Sirāt

Sirāt (2025) is a Spanish-French drama by director Oliver Laxe — watch online on iFILM. Shot on location across Morocco's desert borderlands, 115 minutes, with Sergi López leading a cast of mostly non-professional actors. Laxe built the film around real desert raves and real silence.

Luis and his son cross into Morocco searching for Marina, his daughter who vanished at a rave months earlier. Word spreads about one final gathering near the Mauritanian frontier. They join the convoy of strangers heading deeper into the wasteland, chasing a rumour that keeps moving just ahead of them. The landscape isn't backdrop — it's pressure. Heat and open space do things to people that normal life keeps buried.
